If you have a chronic or complex condition (e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cancer, stroke), your GP may assess your eligibility for a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP)—previously known as an EPC or Care Plan.
Under a GPCCMP, Medicare provides rebates for up to five allied health sessions per calendar year, which may include dietetic services.
These rebates cover a portion of our consultation fee.
Please note that Diet Solutions does not bulk bill.
To claim your Medicare rebate:
- Your GP must complete the plan and provide a referral to Diet Solutions before your appointment.
- Please email a copy of the referral to info@dietsolutions.net.au or bring it with you to your appointment.
- Retrospective claims are not available, so it’s essential the referral is in place ahead of time.
Most private health insurance funds provide a proportion of the consultation fee if you have Extras Cover. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your health care provider to check your entitlements.
Diet Solutions works with clients under the NDIS to improve their health, wellbeing, and independence.

Our hourly rate is as outlined in the NDIS schedule of fees.
