Green tahini pasta

Serves 1

Low Histamine

Gluten free friendly with modifications*



1 tbs olive oil

1 cup broccoli florets

2 cups pasta (gluten free if required)

1 tbs pumpkin seeds

fresh herbs

pinch of salt

pinch of pepper (optional)

For the tahini sauce

¼ cup tahini

¼ cup warm water (if needed, depending on desired consistency)

½ teaspoon dried sage or fresh

¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)

½ tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)


1. Cook pasta as per instructions.

2. Sauté broccoli florets for about 8 minutes

3. Combine all ingredients of tahini sauce and stir well.

4. Add drained pasta to pan, pop in the broccoli and stir in tahini sauce.

5. Season as desired, top with chopped herbs and pumpkin seeds.


White vinegar is a suitable alternative.
